The results are as follows: The average annual wear thickness of glass fiber reinforced polypropylene pipe is 11.5424mm/year: Engineering grade polypropylene pipe (PP) is 13.5828mm/year; UHMW-PE pipe is 5.0104mm/year; Steel pipe (A3) is 36.2424mm year; The experimental results show that the wear resistance of UHMW-PE pipe is seven times as much as that of steel pipe. The unique molecular structure of UHMW-PE pipe has the advantages of extremely high anti-sliding friction and light weight. The unit pipe length is only one eighth of the weight of the steel pipe, which makes loading, unloading, transportation and installation more convenient. The aging and embrittlement rate of UHMW-PE pipe is very slow, and the aging resistance is superior to PE100. Its mechanical properties are only reduced by 20% after burying 50 years. The UHMW-PE pipe is light, flexible, convenient to transport and install, low in cost, and safe and reliable in linking. The impact strength of UHMW-PE pipe can reach more than 120KJ/M2, which is 10 times as high as that of PE.
